please help with medical terminology?
on a letter i have to take to a hosp appt with me it says ‘O/E Abdo soft non tender no guarding / rebound no shoulder tip pain’ what does no guarding mean in particular

Guarding is “Doc lingo” for tensing of, in your case, the abdominal area.
